Gurupurab Celebration - KIIT World School celebrated Gurupurab with great religious fervor. The auspicious day began with a 'Prabhat pheri' where students, parents, and teachers took out a procession in and around the school campus. The chants of 'Wahe Guru' filled the atmosphere with reverence and piety. The Principal, Dr. Sangeeta Bhatia prepared 'kadhai prasad' for the entire staff, students, and visitors. A prayer session was also organized on the occasion.

Creating CAPACITY to COPE with UNCERTAINTIES
Webinar on Emotional Health and Well-being - It was conducted by KIIT World School for the students and parents. The webinar was conducted to raise awareness among students and parents and make them understand the importance of emotional health and well-being. The webinar emphasized the importance of self-care where students and parents shared their self-care routine. The webinar was concluded by a survey on emotional health.
Exploring Nonviolent Communication - KIIT World School, in association with Gandhi Smriti, organized a talk on ‘Exploring Nonviolent Communication’ in our daily lives. The resource person Mr Deepankar talked about the importance of effective communication and understanding our own selves rather than changing the world around us. Guest Speaker, Dr. Vedabhyas Kundu enlightened the audience about how we can practice nonviolent communication in our daily life.

Integration of Technology: With the emerging need for creative and critical thinkers to increase the entrepreneurial skills among youth for making our country one of the biggest exporters, it has become the need of the hour to strengthen STEM education in Schools. KIIT World School has always proven to be one of the leading institutions in the field of innovation as per the need of the 21st Century.
Artificial Intelligence: KIIT World School organized a workshop on Artificial Intelligence for the students of classes VI to XI. The workshop was conducted by Ms Prembala Dutt, Computer Science Faculty. The workshop focused on real-life applications that everyone can use to work efficiently and diligently. The students were made aware of programming in A.I., freeware software which are available for mass usage.
ATL Marathon: KIITians secured National Rank under 100 and 200 in the ATL Marathon, 2018-2019. ATL Marathon is a flagship competition for AIM where Atal Innovation Mission brings in a new theme every year for innovators under which students with the help of their ATL in-charges and mentors carefully research, ideate, innovate and implement their innovations.
Rashtriya Kishore Vaigyanik Sammelan, 2019: Eminent scientists from India and abroad called on the numerous children gathered at the Rashtriya Kishore Vaigyanik Sammelan (Children’s Science Congress). Students of KIIT World School displayed multiple projects in 2019 from 3-7 January which strongly promotes the idea of innovation and technology.
Sally Ride Earthkam 2021: Sukhraj Singh Nandhara and Hriday Arora of class XIA attended an innovative session of Sally Ride EarthKAM mission 74. They got an opportunity to learn about clicking pictures of specific locations by requesting to the International Space station. EarthKAM stands for Earth Knowledge Acquired By Middle School Students. It is an educational outreach program allowing students to request the International Space Station (ISS) for pictures of a specific location from a digital camera mounted on the window of ISS. A compiling team on Earth sends the specific coordinates of a place to a computer attached to a camera on the ISS, enabling it to take pictures automatically. Hundreds of students across India are a part of this wonderful program aimed at bringing space closer than ever before.
Toyota Hackathon Delhi: KIIT has proudly made its place in the top 10 of Toyota Hackathon for 2 consecutive years (2018-2020). Aligning with Toyota’s global commitment to offer innovative Safety solutions, Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) conceptualized and organized the Toyota Hackathon on Road Safety. Students from Grade IX to XII, from schools across New Delhi, participated in this intense challenge to develop digital road safety solutions in support of the National Mission for “Zero Fatality.”
CBSE Regional Science Exhibition: KIIT World School has set a milestone by qualifying in the CBSE Regional Science Exhibition for 3 years consecutively and won once.
Labonatics: Students of Grade XI attended the workshop ‘LABOTONICS’ organized by Sri Venkateshwara College, University of Delhi. They have explained some basic principles of Physics/Electronics using simple circuits, which are considered difficult to learn in the classroom. The resource person demonstrated different simulations like Electromagnetic induction, Newton’s law of cooling, electronics devices like a p-n junction, etc. The most interesting part of the session was a real interface of experiments and analysis of data obtained. Besides this, the students also attended an extended session on E-waste and its safe disposal. The motto of this session was to develop an awareness of the environmental hazards of E-waste and plastic waste.
Robot ‘Prithvi’: The COVID-19 pandemic has led to a dramatic loss of human life worldwide. Two students of KIIT World School created a prototype that has been appreciated by the medical fraternity in testing times keeping in mind the heart-wrenching situation of mankind and doctors who were on their toes to save people. The prototype was created within two weeks with the support of the ATL lab and Robotics team.
Science and Innovation Fair: Students of KIIT World School won the gold medal in the exhibit titled MEDBOT under the senior category in the year 2018 where research-based projects were displayed by the students and immensely appreciated in the Fair.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the shift from offline to online classes seemed to be a challenge but KIITians worked together as a family to build and strengthen the system by using various platforms of technology. Content creation for students to provide a joyful and enriching learning experience was done by each member. Regular attendance records, Results, Remedial Plans, Classroom access, Online Labs, Virtual Activities, Experiential Learning, etc. are some of the areas in which we have proven to be successful.
Tech Training and Webinars, Open P-Tech Training Session, Tech innovation and entrepreneurship Training Session: KIIT World School organized a training session for teachers on 'Introduction to Open P-Tech' to make them aware of the process of registration and getting enrolled for various courses offered by the platform. The resource person Mr. Shubham Sand apprised the teachers about the steps involved in the registration and highlighted various advantages of the platform. The teachers could learn a variety of the content/topics related to their subject and outside their subject at their own pace and convenience and receive a certificate after successful completion of the course. Regular training sessions organized by DOE and CBSE are also attended by all the teachers in order to improvise the online education along with its actual implementation.

The shrubs which were planted aimed at ensuring that a healthy lifestyle is adopted by everyone around us highlighting the importance of Nutri gardens. National Constitution Day and National Law Day - KIIT World School organized a talk on the occasion of National Constitution Day and National Law Day to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India. The guest speaker Mr. Sumit Chander, practicing lawyer at the Supreme Court of India and the Delhi High Court, explained in detail the significance of the day. Highlighting the historical background, Mr Chander shared many interesting and unknown facts about the drafting of the constitution.

KIIT World School organized its Annual Care and Share Program with pomp and splendor – Spandan 2021, an occasion marked by online festivities and merry-making to celebrate Christmas and herald the New Year with new hope and aspirations. The theme of the Academic Year 2021-2022 was “Revelry with Reverberations” where all the stakeholders came forward and supported the noble cause of helping the underprivileged sections of society. The care and share program was not just confined to the walls of the school but was shared with the community as well. Apart from the distribution of dry ration, goodie bags loaded with love and warmth, teachers and parents donated blankets to the needy.
