53 Years of Simla Agreement :: From Military Victory to a Diplomatic Defeat !!! Drawing Parallels from #OperationSindoor...
Commemorating the 53 Years of Simla Agreement, 2nd July 1972 post the 1971 War...
This 54th Anniversary of the much debated Indo-Pak Simla Agreement of 1972, Do Read Here and Analyse the Deep Dive of Sri. K. N. Bakshi, Member of the Indian Delegation, who recalls his experience during the Simla Summit and its outcome by narrating an insider’s view on India’s Simla strategy.
He presents the sheer Idealism on the Indian Side while that of a Pragmatic Push from Pakistan, which in his opinion led a Military Victory to a Diplomatic Defeat.
Somewhat a similar such tragedy happened with the latest Military #OperationSindoor which had to be ceased all of a sudden (and most intriguingly declared by American President first in the Public), for real reasons unknown to the General Public, despite India having made huge Military Strides by striking Pakistan deep within its Terror Mongering Territory.
The extent of Global Benefits which Pakistan has received after the cessation of #OperationSindoor including the Chairmanship of UNSC remains an unpalatable truth for the 1.5 billion odd Patriotic & Peace Loving Indians.
ReTHINK INDIA Institute invites its august audience of Academics & Scholars to
Draw Parallels and Make Educative “Guesses” on the fate of these two escapades, which somewhat turned Military Victories to Diplomatic Defeats, and more importantly, what could have been done differently to avert this in the first place.
